With Hearts And Doves

WITH HEARTS AND DOVES
by Richard Sison

Daylight is fading on a hill
With candle light and fear
Out comes the ghost of the world

People running down the streets
Hiding from the beast they fear
With bullets behind their back

Crying children everywhere
With nothing left to choose
But to bear this great nightmare

Sounds of guns echoing in the air
Is the only sad music singing
To these little innocent ears

No marks of hope on their plate
Just a glass full of broken dreams
An aftermath of war.. a poor broken land..

The Holy Word says, "Love thy neighbor.."
But open your eyes.. what do you see?
A hate-filled land of humanities

Beneath the deepest sea of greed
And thirst for wealth and power
The world is slowly drowning..

And this is the story so far..
About the world we are living in
Sad but true.. It is slowly dying..

But the saddest part is we never care
We just watch the story on coffee break
While blaming God and doing nothing

Let us feed the earth with hearts and doves
And let us stand and make a move
All together.. we will raise the flag of hope

Act now or we'll pay the price later
Nothing is impossible.. we will carry on..
Have faith in God and walk on waters

Yes, there's really Someone in heaven
Just call unto Him and He will surely listen
Trust and He will heal what has been broken

May God restore our land..
May Love rule the earth..
May Peace be with us all..
